The invitation is all yours! What a blessed invitation at that! You are standing, so to speak, at the front door, and with your hand it’s about to open. What’s inside? Come on in and you will find that from our homepage you can access any page of this website and find that something special from the Lord awaits your visit.

It’s all about family– God’s family– laughing, loving, and sharing the joy of the Lord that He has put in us as we desire to serve Him and do the work of ministry, and we want it to touch your heart. I hope that as you visit our website you will feel the fellowship of excitement! It’s here, it’s sweet, and it’s very real as we are captured in these images and videos, meeting to worship and holding forth the Word of Life. So, as you look at all the images, all the events and gatherings, all the moments and ministries from the children to the youth and to the adults—we want you to feel the connection because God created us for connections, and the most important connection is at the cross. The bridge God has built to us, to reach us, save us and love us is with an everlasting love. He wants you to make that connection most of all.

Sometimes we sing, “Blessed be the tie that binds our hearts”. That tie is the cord of love that is laced throughout our lives and lies within the pages of this website. Come now, make connection, begin the fellowship with Hindman First Baptist Church, make the connection with God’s love, and it will tie you to Him. Please, if you don’t have a church home, we invite you to be a part of us. The cord is strong and the love is real and that connection is for you. Join us! May God richly bless you.

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
Deuteronomy 6:4-9

Our Church’s Desire…
We believe that God established the family as the primary means of discipleship. Therefore, as a church, it is our desire to both encourage and equip parents and grandparents to effectively disciple their children through life. Discipleship can and certainly does happen at church, but God’s ultimate desire is that it might start in the home. It is our prayer that all families within our church would make family worship a regular and intentional practice.
